About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Business Banking Relationship Manager to join our digital bank. In this role, you will be responsible for acquiring, managing, and growing relationships with Business Banking clients providing financial solutions through digital channels. You will work independently while also collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional service and drive SME growth.


Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management:

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of SME or corporate clients.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with clients by understanding their business needs and providing tailored financial solutions.
  • Conduct regular client visits and calls to maintain engagement and identify new opportunities.


Business Development:

  • Originate new borrowing relationships and cross-sell banking products such as loans, trade finance, treasury, and cash management solutions.
  • Negotiate terms including facility structure, pricing, security arrangements, and covenants.


Credit & Risk Management:

  • Conduct thorough financial analysis and credit assessments.
  • Prepare and present credit proposals for approval.
  • Monitor loan utilization, account conduct, and covenant compliance.
  • Perform periodic reviews and stress testing of client portfolios.


Compliance & Governance:

  • Ensure adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and risk management standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and timely reporting.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • Minimum 5–10 years of experience in SME or Business Banking.
  • Strong credit analysis and financial structuring skills.
  • Proven track record in client acquisition and portfolio management.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Preferably certified in credit-related qualifications
