Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Structural Project Manager to oversee site operations, manage project timelines, and ensure structural works are completed efficiently and to high-quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and hands-on project coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Site Management
- Oversee and manage daily site progress to ensure work is on schedule
- Plan and manage project timelines, manpower, resources, and budgets
- Monitor site teams and contractors to meet deadlines and quality standards
- Maintain daily site records including progress tracking and photo documentation
Cost & Contract Management
- Review and verify Bill of Quantities (BQ), cost estimates, and tender documents
- Liaise with suppliers to request and compare quotations
- Report cost comparisons and recommendations to management
Coordination with QS & Stakeholders
- Work closely with Quantity Surveyors on Progress claims, Valuations and certifications
- Ensure all Variation Orders (VOs) are properly evaluated, documented, and approved
- Support cost analysis for materials, subcontractors, and suppliers
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with construction standards, safety regulations, and local authority requirements
- Monitor workmanship quality and structural integrity
- Identify and resolve site issues promptly
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
Experience
- 5–8 years of experience in construction
- Strong exposure to structural works (MUST HAVE)
- Proven experience managing residential, commercial, or high-rise projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering / Construction Management or equivalent
Technical & Functional Skills
- Strong knowledge of structural systems, materials, and construction methods
- Familiar with local authority requirements and construction regulations
- Good understanding of BQ, tendering, and cost control
Soft Skills
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Able to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Results-driven with strong accountability
