Production Quality Oversight: Lead and optimize in-process quality control (IPQC) and final quality control (FQC) protocols across machining, fabrication, or assembly lines to maximize yield rates.
QMS Maintenance & Auditing: Maintain, improve, and drive compliance for the quality management system (IATF 16949 / ISO 9001). Lead internal audits and serve as the primary technical point of contact for external and client audits.
Customer Complaints & CAPA: Champion customer defect investigations utilizing 8D methodology, 5Why analysis, Fishbone, FMEA, SPC, and MSA. Author and execute Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) plans.
Continuous Process Improvement: Partner with Production and Supplier Quality Engineering teams to optimize manufacturing processes, drive down scrap rates, and elevate supplier component standards.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Automation, or a related engineering field.
Minimum 5 years of solid QC/QA experience within precision machining, automotive components, heavy machinery, or advanced manufacturing sectors.
Core Technical Asset: Proven, deep mechanical background with absolute proficiency in engineering drawings (GD&T), tolerance stacks, and high-precision metrology equipment.
Core Compliance Asset: Advanced mastery of IATF 16949 standards. Certified internal auditor status is highly advantageous.
Comprehensive expertise in core quality tools: APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, and 8D reporting.
Exceptional technical problem-solving capabilities, logical thinking, and the ability to interface effectively with corporate clients.
