Project Description:
Our Client a leading bank in Asia with a global network of more than 500 branches and offices in 19 countries and territories in Asia Pacific, Europe, and North America, are looking for Consultants to be part of the project.
The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance, and planning support and services. They work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising, and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Malaysia and overseas branches.
The client has more than 80 years of history in the banking industry and is expanding its footprint in Malaysia.
You will be working in a newly set-up technology centre located in Kuala Lumpur as part of Technology and Operations to deliver innovative financial technology solutions that enable business growth and technology transformation.
Responsibilities:
1. Change Request (CR) Tracking & Coordination
• Monitor and track progress of Change Requests (CRs) throughout the SDLC lifecycle.
• Ensure CRs are delivered within agreed timelines from execution until UAT sign-off.
• Coordinate with development and delivery teams to resolve issues and challenges related to CR implementation.
2. SDLC & Project Governance
• Support project governance activities across SDLC phases.
• Track project milestones, risks, dependencies, and delivery status.
• Ensure project documentation and status reporting are properly maintained.
3. PMO & Reporting Support
• Support PMO activities including:
- project tracking
- status reporting
- implementation coordination
- stakeholder communication
• Prepare dashboards, reports, presentations, and project updates.
4. Implementation & Release Coordination
• Consolidate implementation checklists prior to go-live activities.
• Review implementation readiness with delivery teams before presenting to CR management teams.
• Support release coordination and deployment governance activities.
5. Tools & Documentation Management
• Work with:
- Microsoft Excel
• Microsoft PowerPoint
• Jira
• Confluence
• PPM tools
• Maintain project records, trackers, and implementation documentation.
Mandatory Skills Description:
• 3-5 years of experience in project coordination, release coordination, SDLC governance, or change management activities
• Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with participation in at least 2 end-to-end SDLC cycles
• Experience in monitoring and tracking Change Requests (CRs) from execution until UAT sign-off
• Strong coordination and stakeholder communication skills
• Strong experience using:
• Experience working with:
- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft PowerPoint
- Jira
- Confluence
- PPM tools
• Experience in implementation tracking, checklist management, and release coordination
• Strong organizational, reporting, and multitasking skills
