Job Title: Commis (I/II/III)

Salary Range (Full-time): SGD 2,000 – SGD 2,500/month

Salary Range (Part-time): SGD 13 – SGD 18/hour

Department: Back-of-House - F&B Department

Location: Across company F&B Brands in Singapore

Overall Job Objectives:

We are seeking dedicated and flexible Commis / Kitchen Assistants to join our dynamic kitchen team. This is an exciting opportunity to support kitchen operations and ensure smooth service delivery. You will work alongside experienced cooks to prepare food and maintain strict hygiene and safety standards, while contributing to the overall success of the kitchen.

Core Responsibilities:

• Assist with food preparation tasks, including washing, chopping, and seasoning ingredients.
• Ensure food items are stored at appropriate temperatures to maintain food safety standards.
• Safely operate kitchen appliances such as blenders, ovens, and grills.
• Keep food preparation areas clean and ensure all utensils and equipment are sanitized at the end of each shift.
• Help handle food orders and support special service requests during peak hours to ensure smooth operations.

Job Specifications:

• At least 1 year of experience in a kitchen or food-related role.
• Hygiene course certification or equivalent.
• Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment.
• Versatile and adaptable to changing tasks.
• Experience with cold dish preparation or ingredient handling is a plus.

Key Deliverables:

• Assist kitchen staff with food preparation, including washing vegetables, chopping, and seasoning ingredients before service.
• Ensure proper storage of food items at appropriate temperatures to maintain food safety.
• Operate kitchen appliances (e.g., blenders, ovens, grills) safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness of food preparation areas and sanitize utensils at the end of each shift.
• Support the team by handling multiple food orders simultaneously and assisting with special arrangements or reservations as needed.
