Structural Topside Engineer (FPSO Project)

Role Overview:

Responsible for the design, analysis, and integrity of topside structures for FPSO facilities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, international codes, and offshore standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and review structural design deliverables including calculations, drawings, and specifications for FPSO topside modules.
• Perform structural analysis (in-place, transportation, lifting, and operational conditions).
• Ensure designs comply with applicable standards (e.g., API, ISO, DNV).
• Interface with multidisciplinary teams (process, piping, naval, construction).
• Support fabrication, installation, and commissioning phases, including resolution of site queries.
• Review vendor documents and ensure integration with overall structural design.
• Participate in design reviews, HAZID/HAZOP, and technical audits.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related discipline.
• 5-10 years' experience in offshore oil & gas projects
• At least 1 prior experience in FPSO project.
• Proficient in structural analysis software (e.g., SACS, SESAM, STAAD).
• Strong understanding of offshore codes and standards.
• Ability to work in multi-disciplinary and fast-paced project environments.
