Lead and maintain the effectiveness of the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 13485, or other applicable standards.
Ensure all quality policies, procedures, work instructions, and records are properly established, maintained, and controlled.
Coordinate external certification audits, customer audits, and regulatory audits.
Drive continuous improvement of quality systems and processes.
Develop and implement quality plans, inspection standards, control plans, and quality procedures.
Monitor product quality performance and establish corrective and preventive actions for identified issues.
Ensure effective incoming, in-process, and outgoing quality control activities.
Review and approve quality documentation, inspection reports, and quality records.
Serve as the primary quality representative for customer quality concerns and escalations.
Lead customer complaint investigations using structured problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, and FMEA.
Coordinate containment actions, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
Monitor customer satisfaction metrics and drive improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with suppliers to improve product quality and delivery performance.
Support supplier qualification, evaluation, and development activities.
Review supplier quality performance and drive corrective actions when necessary.
Participate in supplier audits and quality improvement programs.
Lead quality improvement projects focused on yield improvement, defect reduction, cost reduction, and process capability enhancement.
Analyze quality data and identify trends for improvement opportunities.
Promote Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement culture across the organization.
Establish and monitor quality KPIs and performance targets.
Lead, coach, and develop the Quality team to achieve departmental objectives.
Conduct performance evaluations and identify training needs.
Promote employee engagement, accountability, and continuous learning.
Ensure adequate manpower planning and resource allocation.
Ensure compliance with customer requirements, regulatory standards, and company policies.
Lead risk assessment activities related to product quality and manufacturing processes.
Support Engineering Change Management (ECN/ECR) activities from a quality perspective.
Ensure proper implementation of CAPA and risk mitigation actions.
Prepare and present quality performance reports to management.
Monitor and report key quality metrics including PPM, COPQ, customer complaints, audit findings, and yield performance.
Support Management Review meetings and drive actions arising from quality performance reviews.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
Minimum 8 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, or Quality Management within a manufacturing environment.
Minimum 3 years of leadership or managerial experience.
Experience in precision machining, metal stamping, die casting, electronics manufacturing, or semiconductor industry is an added advantage.
Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 13485, etc.).
Familiar with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, Control Plan, and Statistical Analysis.
Strong understanding of root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies.
Experience in customer audits, supplier audits, and certification audits.
