MKS & CO is a progressive audit practice based in Kota Kinabalu focused on efficient, modern workflows. We are seeking an experienced Senior Audit Associate to manage end-to-end audit engagements and ensure strict regulatory compliance for our diverse client portfolio.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage audit engagements from planning to completion, ensuring compliance with MFRS, MPERS, and regulatory requirements

• Perform detailed audit testing and procedures, ensuring compliance with audit standards and regulatory requirements

• Prepare and maintain accurate audit documentation and reports

• Work closely with clients to understand their financial and business operations

• Communicate effectively with clients and resolve audit-related issues

• Assist in identifying audit risks and developing solutions to address them

• Supervise and mentor junior auditors, providing guidance and reviewing their work

Requirements

• Minimum 3 to 4 years of external audit experience (candidates with relevant financial or accounting experience in related fields will be considered)

• Degree in accounting or finance related field

• Professional qualifications (e.g., CA, CPA, ACCA) in progress or completed are advantageous

• Demonstrated ability to manage engagements independently and deliver accurate work within tight deadlines.

• Strong professional communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and modern accounting software (e.g., Auto Count).
