Software Development

• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

• Familiarity with databases such as AWS DynamoDB or similar technologies

• Proficiency in SQL and at least one modern programming language such as Python, Java, Node.js, etc.

• Experience using version control tools such as Git

• Understanding of frontend development concepts, including UI components, responsive design, and API integration

• Understanding of backend development concepts, including authentication, databases, server-side logic, and API development

• Familiarity with how frontend and backend systems communicate through RESTful APIs or web services

• Experience working on APIs from security or device-compliance products would be an advantage

• Knowledge of software testing and quality assurance practices

Endpoint Device Security, Zero Trust Implementation, and DevSecOps

• Develop solutions to manage and secure endpoint devices such as Windows and macOS using tools like Microsoft Intune, CrowdStrike, CyberArk, Tanium, etc.

• Work on automation, data analysis, trend visualisation, threat detection, and remediation

• Secure web applications and services through WAF, access control, secure gateways, and zero trust implementation

• Work on identity and access management solutions to support secure authentication and authorisation using SAML, Azure Entra, and other identity providers such as Okta, AWS IAM, etc.

• Provide secure access management solutions based on zero trust principles

• Administer and configure Cloudflare resources, including Cloudflare Access, Gateway, and WAF, to improve security and optimise performance

Cloud Expertise, Solution Architecture, DevOps, and Automation — AWS and Azure

• Develop automation solutions using AWS resources such as SQS, DynamoDB, Lambda, S3, ECS Fargate, ECR, EC2, IAM, CloudWatch, VPC, Subnet, NACL, WAF, Step Functions, etc.

• Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform, APIs, and automation through programming languages such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Shell, PowerShell, etc.

• Use Azure resources such as Logic Apps, Entra, PIM, Power Automate, VMs, Azure Virtual Desktop, Azure Functions, etc.

• Design and manage DevOps and DevSecOps pipelines, including CI/CD automation using tools such as GitLab CI, Taskfile, and Terraform across the development lifecycle

• Implement containerisation solutions using Docker and Kubernetes, including building images and deploying containerised solutions

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies within the team to improve Agile Scrum and Kanban practices

• Continuously evaluate and conduct PoCs to introduce the latest tools, practices, and modern technologies

Site Reliability Engineering — SRE

• Develop SRE practices using the ELK stack — Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana — for proactive monitoring, alerting, and maintaining system reliability

• Define and track key performance indicators such as SLO, SLA, and SLI to ensure service availability and performance using synthetic monitors

• Manage ELK clusters, agents, fleet policies, alerts, visualisation dashboards, and trend prediction

• Design and develop solutions to detect service deviations and enable auto-recovery for critical services
