The Sales Executive is the face of our brand at key retail partners, responsible for driving consumer sales of our baby products portfolio — including strollers, car seats, carriers, and sterilizers. This role combines frontline sales engagement with hands-on merchandising, ensuring both outstanding customer experience and strong in-store brand presence at outlets such as Takashimaya, Motherswork, and other key retail partners.
Responsibilities
1. Sales & Customer Engagement
- Actively promote and demonstrate baby products (strollers, car seats, carriers, sterilizers, and accessories) to consumers at assigned retail locations.
- Engage walk-in customers with in-depth product knowledge, understanding their needs and guiding them towards the right purchase decisions.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly individual sales targets
- Upsell and cross-sell complementary products to maximise basket size per transaction.
- Build lasting rapport with repeat customers and new parents to foster brand loyalty and encourage referrals.
- Represent the brand professionally at all times, maintaining a positive and engaging presence on the sales floor.
- Assist in organising and executing in-store product demonstrations, promotional events, and roadshows as required.
- Gather and relay consumer feedback, product enquiries, and competitor observations to the team.
2. Merchandising & Store Standards
- Monitor and replenish stock levels at point-of-sale to minimise out-of-stock situations and ensure product availability at all times.
- Ensure all product displays are maintained in accordance with the company's Visual Merchandising (VM) guidelines and brand standards.
- Set up, maintain, and dismantle promotional displays, seasonal campaign materials, and in-store fixtures.
- Conduct routine checks on product condition, pricing labels, and promotional signage to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate with internal logistics and the retail store team for timely stock replenishment and delivery scheduling.
- Report fast-moving and slow-moving SKUs, stock discrepancies, and display issues promptly.
3. Retail Account & Operations Support
- Maintain strong day-to-day working relationships with store managers, floor supervisors, and retail partners at assigned outlets.
- Submit accurate daily/weekly sales reports, stock reports, and footfall observations to the team in a timely manner.
- Flag competitor activities, pricing gaps, and emerging consumer trends observed on the floor to support business planning.
- Support new store openings, product launches, and pop-up events as directed.
- Ensure full compliance with retailer SOPs, housekeeping standards, and company operational policies.
- Assist the Key Account team with administrative tasks such as compiling sales data, preparing simple reports, and coordinating store-level logistics.
4. Product Knowledge & Brand Representation
- Maintain current, comprehensive knowledge of the full product portfolio including safety certifications, key features, USPs, and target customer profiles.
- Attend all scheduled product training sessions, sales briefings, and team meetings.
- Serve as a knowledgeable and credible brand ambassador, confidently addressing technical and safety-related product queries from consumers and retail partners.
- Stay updated on competitor products, industry trends, and new category developments relevant to the baby and maternity market.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum Diploma from a recognised Polytechnic or equivalent; relevant retail or sales-related coursework is an advantage.
- 1–2 years of experience in a retail sales, promoter, or frontline customer service role.
- Prior experience in baby, mother & child, lifestyle, or consumer electronics products is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with key Singapore retail environments (department stores, specialty baby retailers) is a plus.
- Comfortable working retail hours including weekends and public holidays (peak trading periods).
- Physically able to perform merchandising duties including lifting, arranging, and repositioning product displays.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office or mobile reporting tools for daily sales and stock submissions.
- Bilingual ability (English and Mandarin) is advantageous for engaging a wider customer base.
- Primarily based at designated retail outlets; may be required to rotate across multiple locations.
- 5-day work week on a rostered schedule inclusive of weekends and public holidays.
- Smart casual dress code as per retail partner requirements.
- Physical requirements include standing for extended periods and handling display stock.
