About the Company
Join a rapidly expanding global technology manufacturer serving the automotive and sensor industries. This role offers exposure to product development, New Product Introduction (NPI), process optimisation, and cross-functional project leadership within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) projects from development to production handover.
- Drive process development and continuous improvement initiatives to improve yield, productivity, and process stability.
- Conduct root cause analysis, DOE, and corrective actions for product and process issues.
- Perform Design for Manufacturing (DFM) studies and support new product development activities.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and technical deliverables.
- Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and external vendors to support project execution.
- Handle customer technical issues and drive quality improvements.
- Develop and maintain engineering documentation, work instructions, and quality control plans.
- Support ISO/IATF16949, EHS, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Physics, or related discipline.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in R&D, NPI, Process Development, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Experience in optoelectronics, sensors, semiconductor, automotive, or precision engineering industries preferred.
- Knowledge of DOE, DFM, root cause analysis, and process optimisation methodologies.
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Creo, SAP, and Microsoft Office will be an advantage.
