Job Summary
The Repair Engineer supports repair operations for VAT products by performing inspections, failure analysis, troubleshooting, repairs, and testing to ensure customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Conduct advanced technical evaluations, failure analyses, and prepare repair reports and cost estimates for VAT products to support repair operations.
- Complete repair activities with accurate documentation within required timelines to maintain operational flow.
- Monitor and support key operational KPIs including revenue, turnaround time, productivity, quality, and service performance to drive business results.
- Proactively manage and maintain service workflows to ensure timely completion of assigned repair tasks.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and cross-functional departments such as Sales, Field Service Engineers (FSE), Product Group, and Field Application Engineers (FAE) to resolve repair issues.
- Adhere strictly to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety protocols, and operational standards to ensure compliance and safety.
- Exhibit professionalism, accountability, teamwork, and a customer-focused approach in daily repair operations.
- Be available to work overtime as needed to meet operational demands.
- Perform additional tasks assigned by the service manager to support service center objectives.
