We work in the local plant connected to our global manufacturing network to ensure the highest quality of raw materials, intermediates and finished products.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Technician will be joining a two-year WDA training program. The WDA program aims to support those who is willing to take up traineeship opportunities in biopharmaceutical
sector. These traineeships will help candidates develop their skills professionally, equip them with valuable industry experience and allow them to gain a firmer foothold in the job market across various sectors.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Critical responsibilities but not limited to:
- Provide support to complete assigned work activities timely, efficiently, and satisfactorily.
- Provide support and assist supervisor to manage the projects. Coordinates vendors and contractors on maintenance activities, such as equipment installation, servicing, testing, and commissioning.
- Support maintenance inventory management (Spare parts of equipment/instruments)
- Support quality system improvement program (QSIP) roll out initiatives such as SOP, instructions, PM task list, etc.
- Support cGMP supplier qualification process.
- Support Contractor & Vendor management (Qualification, monitoring and documentation). Supervise and oversee Third Party Contractors, where applicable
- Support Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) improvement initiatives (i.e., audits, training, etc.)
- Involve in brainstorming and simple diagnostic of equipment failure to determine the root cause and lead/perform investigations.
WHAT YOU MUST HAVE
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- NTC / ITC / Diploma in Engineering, or Science or its equivalent
- Min 1-2 years of working experience
- Good working experience in Project Management, or Mechanical or Electrical & Instrumental sectors will be an advantage
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong interests in biopharmaceutical industry
