DecodeAI — Facilitator (Part-Time Weekend)

Kinderbridge · Alexandra Central, Singapore

DecodeAI is Singapore's first standalone AI literacy programme for children aged 7 to 14. We teach kids not just how to use AI, but how to think about it critically, ethically, and responsibly. Our curriculum covers supervised learning, algorithmic bias, prompt engineering, deepfake detection, the fairness impossibility theorem, and original AI system design, delivered through age-appropriate activities across three progressive blocks.

We are looking for university students who are sharp, curious, and genuinely good with young people. You do not need to be a computer science major, but you do need to understand AI well enough to explain it clearly, and care enough about education to adapt your delivery to an 8-year-old and a 13-year-old in the same week.

What the role involves:

You will facilitate weekend sessions (Saturday and Sunday) at our Kinderbridge campus. Each session is one hour, with up to 15 students per class. You will be assigned to one or two age bands based on your strengths — full session guides are provided, so you are not building content from scratch. Your job is delivery, engagement, and making the learning land.

Who we are looking for:

  • Undergraduate or postgraduate students in any discipline — STEM, education, social sciences, and humanities graduates will excell in this role
  • Comfortable explaining technical concepts in plain, age-appropriate language
  • Patient, energetic, and able to hold a room of curious 9-year-olds and curious 13-year-olds with equal confidence
  • Interested in AI, kept up to date with the current evolving AI landscape; you should be able to have an honest conversation about how a language model works, why bias happens in training data, and why these things matter

What you get:

  • Competitive part-time pay: Up to $30/hr
  • Full curriculum training before your first session. You will know the material and the delivery approach before you face a class
  • Real facilitation and teaching experience that stands out on a CV in any field
  • The chance to be part of a programme that is doing something genuinely new in Singapore

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 16 per week

Work Location: In person
