Position Overview

Our Client is seeking a dedicated individual to join their expanding team as a Junior Geotechnical Testing Technician. This role involves executing a variety of routine and specialized testing tasks within designated departments, ensuring precise and prompt results under direct supervision. The position is located in Kaki Bukit, Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the installation and upkeep of geotechnical monitoring devices such as inclinometers, piezometers, and settlement markers.
• Gather and document data from site inspections and monitoring activities.
• Regularly verify the functionality of testing instruments to ensure accuracy.
• Assist in compiling reports and summaries based on collected data.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and site regulations at all times.
• Collaborate with engineers and project teams to facilitate monitoring operations.
• Keep tools and equipment well-organized and ready for immediate use.

Qualifications & Skills

• Possess a diploma in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering, with a minimum of two years’ experience in testing or related fields.
• Basic understanding of testing principles coupled with proficiency in computer applications.
• Experience working within the construction sector is preferred.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to quality, with resilience to work under demanding conditions and tight deadlines.
• Self-driven team player with excellent organizational and communication abilities.
