About the role

We are a MAS-regulated financial services firm operating across wealth and asset management. Our people rely on always-on, secure, and well-managed technology to serve clients and meet our regulatory obligations. We are looking for a capable mid-level Desktop Support / IT Support Engineer to be the trusted first and second line of support for our staff, and to help keep our endpoint, identity, and collaboration environment running smoothly.

This is not a generic L1 helpdesk position. Because we operate in a regulated, finance-sector environment with platforms such as Bloomberg, the role carries real operational responsibility and demands sound judgement, discretion, and a security-first mindset.

What you'll do

  • Act as the primary point of contact for day-to-day desktop, laptop, mobile, and peripheral support across the firm, delivering responsive and professional service to all levels of staff including senior stakeholders.
  • Manage the full IT lifecycle for staff: joiner, mover, and leaver processes including device provisioning, account creation, access changes, and secure offboarding.
  • Administer and support Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive. We are currently on google and need to move away from that to Microsoft.
  • Support endpoint and identity management through Microsoft Intune and Entra ID (Azure AD), including device enrolment, compliance policies, and conditional access.
  • Provide support for business-critical financial applications and market data tools such as Broadridge and Bloomberg, coordinating with vendors where needed.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, network connectivity, printing, and audio/visual issues, escalating to the appropriate internal team or external MSP/vendor when required.
  • Support and promote good security hygiene across the firm, including SSO, multi-factor authentication, and password management tooling (e.g. Dashlane).
  • Maintain accurate asset inventory, software licensing records, and IT documentation.
  • Assist with access reviews, device compliance reporting, and other controls supporting our MAS regulatory and audit requirements.
  • Support MAS technology-related submissions and notifications, including collating evidence and data for Technology Risk Management (TRM) reporting, the outsourcing register, and IT security incident / system malfunction notifications (e.g. the 1-hour incident notification and 14-day root-cause and impact reports), working closely with the Risk and Compliance teams.
  • Maintain accurate logs, asset records, and audit trails that feed into MAS technology submissions and periodic regulatory reviews.
  • Support meeting rooms, video conferencing, and on-site events.
  • Contribute to small IT projects such as rollouts, migrations, and process improvements.

What we're looking for

Essential

  • 3–5 years of desktop / IT support experience, ideally including time in a financial services, professional services, or other regulated environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and Windows desktop environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune and Entra ID (Azure AD) for device and identity management.
  • Solid network troubleshooting skills (DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi-Fi, basic connectivity diagnosis).
  • Experience administering SSO, MFA, and password / credential management tooling.
  • A genuine security-first mindset and an understanding of why controls matter in a regulated firm.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence and discretion to support senior stakeholders directly.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to document, prioritise, and follow defined processes such as joiner/mover/leaver.

Desirable

  • Direct experience supporting Bloomberg terminals and/or market data platforms.
  • Exposure to internal/external fund management / asset servicing platforms.
  • Experience supporting macOS alongside Windows.
  • Familiarity with MAS regulatory expectations or working within an audited control environment.
  • Awareness of MAS Technology Risk Management (TRM) Guidelines, the Notice on Cyber Hygiene, and technology-related incident notification and reporting requirements.
  • Experience working alongside an external MSP or escalation partner.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. Microsoft MD-102 / Endpoint Administrator, Azure / Entra fundamentals, CompTIA A+ or Network+).

What success looks like

In this role you will keep our people productive and secure. Tickets are resolved promptly and professionally, onboarding and offboarding run cleanly and on time, devices stay compliant, and senior stakeholders feel well looked after. Over time you become the dependable internal owner of our endpoint and identity environment, working effectively with vendors and our MSP partner where escalation is needed.

What we offer

  • Competitive base salary of SGD 5,500 – 7,000 per month with a discretionary performance bonus of 2–4 months.
  • CPF and a comprehensive benefits package including medical and insurance coverage.
  • A hybrid working arrangement around the core requirement to provide reliable on-site support.
  • Exposure to a modern, security-focused technology stack in a respected MAS-regulated firm.
  • A small, collaborative team where your work is visible and valued, with room to grow toward senior support, infrastructure, or security pathways.
