The Programme Helper supports the centre’s daily operations by assisting teaching and care staff in providing a safe, nurturing, and hygienic environment for children. This role focuses on routine care duties, activity preparation, and maintaining the cleanliness of the centre’s resources while upholding high standards of professionalism.

Job Responsibilities

• Child Arrival and Dismissal Support

o Assist centre staff in receiving children during arrival and sending them off during dismissal periods.

o Work under the supervision of trained staff at all times during these routines.

o Ensure smooth and safe transitions for children without engaging in direct communication with parents.

• 
  Routine Care Duties

o Support teachers in carrying out daily care routines i.e. feeding and supervising meal times. assisting with diapering, toileting, and personal hygiene.

o Helping with bathing or washing when needed.

o Creating a calm and safe environment during children’s nap or rest times.

o Maintain awareness of children’s safety and well-being throughout all activities.

• 
  Learning Environment Preparation and Maintenance

o Assist in preparing and setting up materials for learning activities.

o Help create and organise teaching aids and learning corners as instructed by the teaching team.

o Support in the cleaning and disinfecting of toys, learning resources, and shared spaces.
