Description:

Key Job Accountabilities:

• Play critical role in managing component repair operations and lead a team of service engineers and technicians
• Product portfolio comprises of commercial and military aircraft engine parts repair e.g. CFM56-5B/-7B, LEAP-1A/-1B
• Drive operational excellence to meet TAT, OTD, Productivity, Labour Utilization as well as Quality and Safety compliance
• Allocate manpower and resources to maximize production outputs
• Spearhead Continuous Improvement projects as well as Digitalization and Automation initiatives to reduce cost and drive productivity
• Interface with customers and coordinate with various functions such as Sales, Customer Support, PP&C and Engineering to provide component MRO support for key engine programs
• Ensure compliance of quality standards and regulations laid down by airworthiness authorities and engine OEMs
• Promote a safety culture within the production team and lead environment health and safety initiatives to ensure a safe workplace

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Aeronautical Engineering. Other Engineering degrees will be considered.
• Prior experience in aircraft engine component repair operations is an advantage.
• Proven leadership track record with strong ability to drive and deliver results
• Highly motivated and self-directed with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good team player with ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
• Process and detail oriented, including strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
