Project Description:

This team supports T&M (Treasury and Markets) and is looking for the right candidate to support Murex 3.1 applications.

Murex is one of the leading applications in the areas of global trading, risk management and trade processing and we using it cross asset classes, Front to Risk to Back in a setup with multiple production environments and grids, connections to many upstream and downstream systems.

Responsibilities:

• Provide functional and technical support for Murex and GFM applications to ensure stable production operations

• Support users across Front Office, Back Office, Finance, and Credit, including direct engagement with traders during market hours for time sensitive issues

• Analyze, own, and resolve production incidents impacting trading, risk, finance, or downstream processes, coordinating with IT teams and vendors as required

• Collaborate with development teams on performance optimisation, configuration improvements, and system enhancements

• Monitor system health and performance; proactively identify and address potential issues

• Automate support and operational tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort

• Participate in on call support rotations and weekend implementations for critical releases and urgent business needs

Mandatory Skills Description:

• 7+ years of experience in Murex, including modules such as eTradepad, Simulation, Limits, Livebook, MXML, Datamart, and related components

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex production issues under time pressure

• Comfortable operating in a Front Office trading environment, supporting time sensitive activities and managing urgent issues during market hours

• Proven ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both technical and non technical stakeholders, including traders, operations, finance, credit, and IT teams

• Good understanding of the SDLC and Agile methodologies

• Experience working collaboratively in a fast paced, high availability financial systems environment

• Knowledge of SQL, scripting/programming languages, and automation tools to support operational efficiency
