Job Purpose

You are responsible for managing procurement activities, ensuring cost-effective purchasing, and maintaining strong supplier relationships within the railway industry. The role involves sourcing materials, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies and project requirements. A background in Quantity Surveying is essential to support cost estimation and contract-related procurement decisions

Experi

• ence
  Minimum of 5 years and above of procurement experience, preferably in the railway, construction, or infrastructure indu
• stry.Experience in tendering, contract negotiation, and vendor manage
• ment.Familiarity with cost estimation, bill of quantities (BOQ), and contract t
• erms.Knowledge of railway industry standards and procurement regulations is an added advan

tage.

• terms.Review and analyze supplier quotations against BOQs and project specific
• ations.Support contract management, including variation orders and
• claims.Monitor supplier performance and maintain a strong vendor da
• tabase.Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely procurement of materials and se
• rvices.Assist in cost estimation and budget planning for procurement acti
• vities.Ensure procurement aligns with project cost control me
• asures.Ensure procurement processes adhere to industry regulations and company po
• licies.Identify and mitigate procurement risks, including supplier reliability and cost fluctu
