Are you passionate about building scalable data platforms, modern analytics pipelines, and cloud-based data solutions? We are looking for a talented Data Engineer to join a growing data and analytics team supporting enterprise-scale data initiatives in Singapore.

Location: Singapore

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: Up to SGD 7,000/month

About the Role

As a Data Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and optimizing scalable data pipelines and analytics platforms. You will work closely with Data Scientists, Analysts, and business stakeholders to enable data-driven decision-making through robust and reliable data infrastructure.

This role is ideal for someone with strong Python and SQL expertise, modern data architecture knowledge, and experience working with cloud-based analytics environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows

• Build and optimize modern data platforms including Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and Lakehouse architectures

• Develop reliable data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration processes

• Implement data quality checks, governance standards, metadata management, and lineage tracking

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and analytics teams to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions

• Work with structured and unstructured datasets across cloud and enterprise environments

• Optimize SQL queries, data models, and processing workflows for performance and scalability

• Support cloud-based data processing and analytics initiatives using AWS and Databricks

• Troubleshoot complex data platform issues and improve operational efficiency

• Contribute to DevOps and Infrastructure-as-Code practices for analytics platforms

Must-Have Skills

3–5 years of Data Engineering or Data Analytics experience

Strong Python programming skills

Experience with pandas, numpy, and data processing libraries

Strong SQL and database management expertise

Hands-on experience building data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows

Good understanding of modern data architecture concepts

Experience with Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Data Lakehouse, or Data Mesh architectures

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Excellent stakeholder communication and collaboration skills

Preferred / Bonus Skills

Experience with Databricks platform

AWS cloud services experience

Exposure to Infrastructure-as-Code and DevOps practices

Experience with data governance, lineage, and metadata management

Knowledge of GIS platforms such as ArcGIS

Experience with geospatial APIs, routing engines, or 2D/3D mapping technologies
