We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Material Coordinator / Material Planner to manage material planning, inventory control, and production support activities in a fast-paced Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) environment. The successful candidate will ensure timely material availability to support production schedules while maintaining optimum inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate material requirements based on customer forecasts, production schedules, and demand changes.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure sufficient material availability to support production without interruption.
• Liaise closely with Production, Warehouse, and Program Management teams to resolve material shortages and delivery issues.
• Track and expedite critical materials to meet production and customer delivery commitments.
• Maintain accurate material planning data in MRP systems.
• Prepare and present material status reports, shortage reports, and inventory analysis to management.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Material Planning, Production Planning, Supply Chain, or Inventory Control, preferably in the EMS or electronics manufacturing industry.
• Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
• Strong understanding of MRP systems and inventory management principles.
• Experience in managing customer forecasts, production schedules, and material replenishment.
• Good analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.

Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
