Job Title: Assistant – Insurance Operations
Location: Q Sentral, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Job Summary
This role offers the opportunity to work with a global leader in insurance broking and risk management, supporting key operational processes including reconciliation, settlements, and reporting while collaborating with diverse stakeholders across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely cash settlements, reconciliations, trade execution, and disbursement processing
- Act as an intermediary between brokers, fiduciary teams, insurers, and clients to resolve outstanding items such as documentation, debts, and commissions
- Assist in processing, analyzing, and preparing monthly operational reports
- Support the Line Manager in credit risk assessment and recommendations
- Perform reconciliation of credit files, identifying discrepancies and variances
- Handle data entry and data management tasks with high accuracy
- Ensure smooth execution of both routine and complex operational tasks
- Maintain compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and SOPs
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure proper information flow on performance, exceptions, and process updates
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in any field
- 1–2 years of experience in Credit Management / Operations / Finance-related roles
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Good command of English (spoken and written)
