We are looking for a highly driven Category Operations Manager to lead business growth, user engagement, and operational excellence across a high-growth platform. This role is ideal for candidates from internet, e-commerce, marketplace, platform, gaming, or digital consumer businesses who are passionate about building and scaling successful products.
Key Responsibilities
• Drive the day-to-day operations and performance of assigned business categories.
• Analyze user behavior, business performance, and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
• Develop and execute operational strategies to improve user engagement, retention, and business performance.
• Plan and manage online campaigns, promotional activities, and user growth initiatives.
• Monitor key business metrics and provide data-driven recommendations to management.
• Collect user feedback and work closely with Product, Marketing, Customer Service, and Technology teams to continuously enhance the user experience.
• Conduct competitor analysis and market research to support strategic business decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of operational initiatives.
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, E-Commerce, Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Min 2-5 years of experience in Category Operations, Industry Operations, Platform Operations, Marketplace Operations, Business Operations, User Operations, Growth Operations, or E-commerce Operations.
• Experience within internet platforms, e-commerce marketplaces, gaming companies, digital entertainment platforms, or technology businesses is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and drive business improvements.
• Experience managing campaigns, promotions, user engagement, or growth initiatives.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and performance-driven environment.
• This role is based in Philippines and relocation is needed.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin, as the role requires regular collaboration with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and regional teams across Asia.
• Experience supporting regional or cross-border business operations will be advantageous.
