Urgent Opportunity: Senior ServiceNow Developer (1-Year Contract)

We are partnering with a leading organisation in the scientific research and public sector space to hire a Senior ServiceNow Developer for an exciting digital transformation initiative.

This role sits within a central CIO office, driving enterprise-wide ServiceNow strategy, governance, and platform innovation.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead end-to-end ServiceNow design, development, and architecture
• Manage and optimise ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, and App Engine modules
• Drive CMDB health, CSDM alignment, and data integrity
• Build advanced workflows, automations, and custom applications
• Implement AI capabilities (Virtual Agent, Predictive Intelligence, GenAI/Now Assist)
• Design and manage system integrations (REST/SOAP, MID Server)
• Partner with stakeholders to enhance IT processes aligned to ITIL
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and governance

What We’re Looking For

• 7–12+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience
• Strong expertise in CMDB, ITSM, ITOM, and platform architecture
• Solid experience in JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer
• Exposure to integrations, automation, and enterprise workflows
• Certifications: CSA (mandatory); CIS-ITSM/CAD preferred
• Experience in large enterprise or regulated environments is a plus
