Job Description

• Industry/ Organization Type: Building & Construction
• Position Title: Data Center Operations Technician
• Working Location: Kallang
• Working Hours: 5 days (Shift rotation)
• Salary Package: Basic Salary + Meal Allowance + Transport Allowance + PB
• Duration: Permanent Role

Key Responsibilities

• Perform physical tasks such as racking, stacking, cabling, and hardware replacement.
• Monitor and manage environmental controls, including temperature, humidity, and airflow, to support smooth data center operations.
• Carry out regular equipment inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Respond to and resolve support tickets related to hardware and network issues promptly.
• Manage asset inventory and maintain accurate records of infrastructure, cabling layout, and equipment tracking.
• Work closely with network and systems teams to support infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and incident resolution.
• Follow security protocols, safety standards, and company policies.
• Participate in 24/7 shift rotation and on-call support when required.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for hardware support and facility-related work.
• Any ad hoc duties assigned.
