The Logistics Project Manager is a critical leadership role responsible for the end-to-end governance of specialized medical supply chain projects. Stationed at the Client’s Warehouse, the Manager oversees the integration of logistics workflows, ensuring that all medical equipment and consumables are handled, packed, and delivered to hospital sites in strict accordance with healthcare regulatory standards and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Key Responsibilities
1. On-Site Project Governance
Client Site Oversight: Act as the primary lead stationed at the Client’s Warehouse, managing the interface between company operations and client inventory systems.
Stakeholder Liaison: Serve as the first point of contact for hospital procurement officers and warehouse directors to resolve operational bottlenecks.
SOP Enforcement: Design and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) specifically for the handling of sensitive medical-grade goods.
2. Operational Management & Accuracy
DO Verification: Audit and certify the accuracy of all Delivery Orders (DO) against physical stock during the packing and loading process.
Workflow Optimization: Monitor and refine the loading and unloading sequences to maximize efficiency and ensure zero damage during transit.
3. Team Leadership & SLA Compliance
Manpower Management: Lead and supervise a dedicated team of drivers and packers, managing daily rosters, performance KPIs, and safety training.
SLA Governance: Responsible for achieving project targets, including a 98%+ On-Time Delivery (OTD) rate and 100% Order Accuracy.
Safety & Hygiene Audits: Conduct regular inspections of vehicles and packing zones to maintain medical-grade hygiene standards.
4. Reporting & Strategic Analysis
Performance Reporting: Generate and present weekly reports on delivery successes, discrepancies, and operational challenges.
Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify risks in the "last-mile" delivery to hospitals (e.g., access constraints, peak hour delays) and implement corrective actions.
Experience: 2–4 years of progressive experience in logistics, with a proven track record in supervisory roles within the Singapore healthcare sector.
Specialized Knowledge: Deep familiarity with GDPMDS (Good Distribution Practice for Medical Devices) and hospital delivery protocols.
Technical Proficiency: Ability to interpret complex Delivery Orders (DO) and manage digital inventory/tracking systems.
Leadership: Strong ability to lead an operational team in a high-pressure, client-facing environment.
Communication: Professional proficiency in English for reporting and stakeholder management.v
