FULL STACK .NET-CORE / ANGULAR ENGINEER

Role profile

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Take end-to-end ownership and responsibility to bring our wealth management applications to the next level and work closely with the Application Responsible (AR) and the Product Owner (PO).

• Work together in a cross-functional team using agile methodologies as part of a DevOps-centric model.

• Design, implement, deploy, release, and monitor your team's applications; participate in merge request reviews.

• Understand business needs by collaborating with colleagues from across different divisions of Julius Baer.

• Participate in planning and feature refinement sessions with your team.

• Collaborate with Solution Architects to design software solutions aligned with Julius Baer's overall architecture vision.

• Actively participate in our Software Engineering communities, sharing your knowledge and helping others.

• Deliver high-quality code, aligned with Julius Baer's guidelines and standards.

Required Experience & Technical Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, or a related field, or have proven relevant working experience

• Can-do attitude, pragmatic and open-minded

• Entrepreneurial mindset, provide ideas

• Proven delivery experience in Software Engineering using industry standards, such as test-oriented development using TDD and BDD

• Understand DevOps concepts, including Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD), and the importance and value of automated testing

• Willing to learn new ways of working and support Julies Baer in its transformation

• Take pride in own work and strive to lead by example

• Very good command of English

• Sound understanding of agile methodologies and Devops, agile certificates are a plus

• Banking and Finance experience, especially in Investment & Wealth Management

• Open to working in both frontend and backend domains when required

Technical

Must Have:

• C#, .NET Core and Framework / .Net 8+

• Angular (v20+)

• Service oriented architecture, REST Web services

• SQL (Microsoft SQL Server)

• React, JavaScript, Typescript

• Kubernetes (PKS)

• Streaming using Kafka, Avro

• Micro-frontends via Module Federation

Softskills
