JOB RESPOSIBILITIES

We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Preparing and monitoring the company's annual budget and financial forecasts.
• Maintaining and handling full sets of accounts.
• Liaising with external auditors and tax agents, including preparing schedules and supporting documents for audit and tax submissions.
• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Reconciling bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and general ledger entries.
• Assisting management with financial analysis and reporting.
• Supporting other finance and accounting functions as required.

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma, Degree, or Professional Qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience in handling full sets of accounts independently.
• Knowledge of monthly management account preparation and budgeting processes.
• Experience working with auditors and tax agents for annual audit and tax matters.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Experience with accounting software such as SQL Accounting, AutoCount, UBS, Sage, QuickBooks, Xero, or similar systems.
• Knowledge of Malaysian tax and statutory compliance requirements.
