Job Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using Terraform and GKE
• Develop and optimize systems to achieve ultralow latency and real-time transaction processing
• Implement autoscaling, high availability, and fault tolerance for backend and odds engine systems
• Set up robust CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and delivery
• Build deep observability (o11y) stacks for performance monitoring, tracing, and alerting
• Act as a cost guardian, optimizing cloud resource usage and infrastructure spend
• Collaborate with backend and platform teams to ensure reliable and secure deployments
• Drive incident response, post-mortems, and performance tuning for production systems
• Contribute to internal tools and automation using Go and shell scripting.

Job Requirement

• Strong proficiency in Go (Golang) with hands-on DevOps implementation
• Proven experience with GCP, especially GKE, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, and Cloud SQL
• Expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code principles
• Deep understanding of CI/CD systems (GitLab CI, ArgoCD, Jenkins, or similar)
• Experience with o11y stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, or similar)
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes, container orchestration, and autoscaling strategies
• Proven record of optimizing performance and achieving near-zero latency in production
• Experience in high-concurrency, real-time, or transactional systems (gaming, trading, or fintech preferred)
• Familiarity with cost optimization and GCP billing management
• Ability to troubleshoot distributed systems and lead technical incident resolution

Pay: Up to RM15,000.00 per month
