Position: Video Editor
Salary: RM2,000 – RM2,500
Working Days: Monday – Friday
Working Hours: 8:30 AM – 6:30 PM
Location: No 65, Second Floor Kompleks, Persiaran Sultan Abdul Hamid, 05050 Alor Setar, Kedah
Job Description
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to produce engaging visual content for marketing, promotional, and corporate projects.
In this role, you will be responsible for planning, shooting, editing, and managing video and photo content while ensuring all materials align with the company’s branding and campaign objectives. You will also collaborate closely with the marketing and creative team to develop content ideas, storyboards, and high-quality visual productions for digital platforms.
This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about video production, storytelling, creative editing, and staying updated with the latest digital content trends.
Key Responsibilities
1) Plan, shoot, and record high-quality video content for marketing, promotional, and corporate projects
2) Edit raw footage into polished and engaging videos using tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or After Effects
3) Add transitions, captions, visual effects, and motion graphics to improve storytelling and audience engagement
4) Edit audio and video podcasts to ensure smooth flow and professional quality output
5) Capture and edit photos for events, campaigns, and promotional materials using Photoshop, Lightroom, or Canva
6) Maintain consistent brand visuals and creative standards across all content
7) Manage video and photo libraries while tracking project progress and deadlines
8) Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to develop storyboards, scripts, and campaign concepts
9) Stay updated with the latest social media trends, editing techniques, and digital tools
10) Ensure all content meets platform specifications such as aspect ratio, resolution, and format requirements
11) Assist during shoots by coordinating equipment and supporting production workflow
12) Uphold the company’s visual identity while contributing fresh creative ideas and concepts
Requirements
1) Minimum Diploma or equivalent qualification in Multimedia, Video Production, Graphic Design, or related field
2) Experience in video editing, photography, or content production is an advantage
3) Proficient in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, or Canva
4) Creative mindset with strong storytelling and visual communication skills
5) Good understanding of social media content trends and platform requirements
