Manage and control overall IT for airline operations, so as to ensure safe and optimum operations, smooth customer experience, aircraft safety through accurate weight and balance and compliance to government regulation at highest quality level.
Key Accountability
Issue Escalation: Monitor and manage all application-related issues that escalate. This includes ensuring Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met by liaising with business units and IT service providers to resolve problems quickly.
Configuration Management: Manage and control the technical and functional configurations of applications for optimal business usage. This involves adhering to corporate governance, IT policies, and regulatory requirements, particularly concerning aircraft weight and balance records and passenger travel document needs.
Process Improvement: Oversee the progress of business process improvement initiatives that involve IT/digital components. Collaborate with business units and IT vendors to ensure sustainable systems and operational environments.
Data and Technology Literacy: Facilitate the transformation of business units by helping them leverage data, IT applications, and business intelligence. You'll act as a trainer and facilitator for these applications, empowering business units to effectively utilize them.
Qualifications & Working Experience
Degree in Computer Science or related discipline with 4 years of working experience in weight & balance and knowledge in check-in process will be an added advantage.
