Procurement Director
The Procurement Director is responsible for leading and overseeing all procurement activities across the organization, ensuring alignment with business objectives, project delivery requirements, and budget targets. Reporting to the General Counsel, this role partners closely with Program Management, Operations, Finance, and Commercial teams to deliver effective procurement and contract strategies across large-scale infrastructure and connectivity projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute procurement strategies, policies, and governance frameworks aligned with business growth and project objectives.
- Lead strategic sourcing, tendering, supplier selection, and contract negotiations to achieve commercially beneficial outcomes.
- Manage end-to-end procurement and contract processes for high-value CAPEX and OPEX packages.
- Build and maintain strong supplier partnerships and preferred vendor frameworks.
- Support budget planning, cost control initiatives, and value engineering opportunities.
- Identify and mitigate procurement, contractual, and commercial risks while ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements.
- Provide procurement guidance and reporting to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
- Support capability development through process improvement, knowledge sharing, and mentoring.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 10 years of construction-related procurement experience.
- Experience working across Singapore, Indonesia, and other Southeast Asian markets.
- Strong knowledge of procurement, contract management, FIDIC, and commercial practices.
- Proven experience managing large-scale infrastructure or mission-critical projects.
- Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and commercial acumen skills.
