Job Description:
- Prepare and compile contracts documents for states of Negeri Sembilan, Melaka and Johor.
- Monitor contractors' progress claims and final account.
- Review, manage and reconcile statement of contractors' accounts.
- Liaise with state Contract Administration Unit and attend inter-departments or states meetings on matters related to contractors.
- Manage and maintain a library of contracts and agreements and ensure proper documentation at all times.
- Management of contractor database and issuance of necessary letters thereof.
- Manage the end to end process of tendering, reassignment and contract area rezoning exercise.
- Monitor and evaluate of deduction proposal recommended by Contract Administration Unit and Operations on contractors' non KPI's compliances.
- Follow up and update all documentation and improve contract administration process regularly.
- Preparation of reports and summaries on contracts value, contractor's performance, contractor resources, payment, deductions, contractors and etc.
- Preparation on monthly progress report and assist the Department Head in preparing yearly review, action plan, budget and presentation slides.
- Preparation of Contract Committee Paper (CCP) and correspondence letters to contractors.
- Manage and prepare relevant documentation for the contractors' vehicles and manpower audit.
- Undertake other task and responsibilities as directed by Department Head.
Job Specification:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
- At least five (5) years of working experience in the related field.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with all levels of people and to deal with diversity of contractors.
- Strong in managing own works and follow up with issues/ deadline.
- Meticulous and systematic in organizing own work processes.
- Experienced in leading a team will be an added advantage.
- Well versed in Microsoft Office Applications.
- Willing to travel to Negeri Sembilan/Melaka/Johor to attend meetings and attend to work related matters.
