Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electrical Engineer role based in Sedenak. The Electrical Engineer will design, review, and optimize electrical systems for data center facilities, including power distribution and backup power infrastructure. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing electrical drawings and specifications, performing load calculations, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations. The role involves coordinating with internal design, construction, and operations teams, as well as external consultants and contractors, to support project delivery and commissioning activities. The Electrical Engineer will also monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and propose improvements to enhance reliability, energy efficiency, and scalability of the data centers.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering and applied Electricity principles for complex, mission-critical facilities.
  • Proficiency in Electrical Design, including layout, calculations, and specification of equipment for data center environments.
  • Experience with Power Distribution systems, including MV/LV switchgear, UPS, transformers, busways, and backup power systems.
  • Knowledge of Power Systems analysis, including fault level calculations, protection coordination, and system redundancy concepts.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
  • Familiarity with relevant electrical and safety standards, codes, and best practices (e.g., IEC, IEEE, local regulations).
  • Experience in data centers, industrial facilities, or other critical infrastructure environments is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional project teams.
  • Comfortable working on-site in Sedenak and coordinating with contractors, vendors, and clients throughout project phases.
