Job Summary
Lead New Product Introduction activities and drive production readiness , ensuring seamless transition from prototype to mass production while collaborating across teams to deliver quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all New Product Introduction (NPI) activities within the plant to ensure smooth transition from prototype to mass production.
- Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, customers, and HQ/factory to coordinate product introduction activities, including packaging requirements.
- Create, review, and modify Bill of Materials (BOM) structures to optimize assembly processes.
- Maintain and support Shop Floor Control (SFC) systems and SAP processes to ensure accurate production tracking and documentation.
- Apply expert knowledge of server and rack assembly processes to support product development and production readiness.
- Lead or contribute to rack packaging design initiatives to ensure quality, efficiency, and compliance with customer standards.
- Drive process improvement initiatives by applying Kaizen and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance production efficiency.
- Provide production support during mass production runs by identifying and resolving issues to maintain quality and operational efficiency.
- Participate actively in internal and external ISO audits to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in an Engineering discipline with at least 3 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
- Demonstrated strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and analytical approach to resolving production challenges.
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision while effectively managing multiple priorities.
- Solid project management skills with experience leading cross-functional initiatives.
- Keen attention to detail with a strong commitment to maintaining quality standards.
