Job Summary

The IT Solution Specialist (Cyber Security) is responsible for deploying, configuring, and supporting cybersecurity solutions while also providing technical expertise in solution design and optimization. This role ensures successful implementation of security technologies and supports clients in maintaining a strong security posture.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and maintain cybersecurity solutions across client environments

• Deploy security tools such as Firewall, EDR, SIEM, IDS/IPS, and email security

• Perform system integration, testing, and troubleshooting during deployment

• Support solution design and provide technical input during presales and project planning

• Conduct vulnerability assessments, security hardening, and remediation

• Monitor and fine-tune security systems to ensure optimal performance

• Provide L2/L3 technical support and incident resolution

• Prepare implementation documentation, runbooks, and reports

• Work closely with SOC, presales, and project teams to ensure smooth delivery

• Engage with vendors for technical support and escalation

• Stay updated with emerging threats, tools, and cybersecurity best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Cyber Security, or related field

• 2–6 years of experience in cybersecurity implementation / engineering roles

• Hands-on experience in:

o Firewall (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Check Point)

o Endpoint Security / EDR (Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike, etc.)

o SIEM / Log Management (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel)

o VPN, Network Security, and system hardening

• Experience in deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of security solutions

• Familiar with operating systems (Windows, Linux) and networking concepts

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Certifications

• CEH, CompTIA Security+

• CISSP / CISM (added advantage)

• Vendor certifications (Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto, Microsoft, etc.)
