Project Closure & Continuous Improvement
- Compile and manage all project documentation, including installation reports, T&C records, and as-built drawings, ensuring a complete file for handover.
- Coordinate the final project handover process with the customer, securing formal acknowledgement of completion.
- Lead post-project reviews to identify key learnings and provide actionable feedback for continuous improvement in processes and execution.
- Manage customer engagement and coordinate with installers to ensure effective and timely support for all post-installation activities.
Key Accountabilities
Project Planning & Compliance
- Review of all engineering documents, including Technical Proposals, PV layouts, and SLDs, to ensure full alignment with project requirements.
Project Execution & Management
- Develop comprehensive project execution plans for each C&l project, including schedules, Method Statements, and installer details, from kick-off through to final handover.
- Supervise on-site PV installation, testing, and commissioning activities, ensuring they conform to approved designs and methodologies.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers on all project-related matters, including progress updates, execution plans, and site coordination.
- Monitor site progress and prepare daily progress reports for internal and external submissions, ensure that project implementation is according to plan.
- Manage all liaison with regulatory bodies such as ST and TNB to secure necessary project approvals and facilitate inspections.
- Collaborate with Maxis HSE to review and approve Method of Statements and lifting plans, ensuring all site activities strictly adhere to Maxis HSE policies and OSHA regulations.
- Ensure that all PV system designs and installations comply with MS/IEC standards, manufacturer guidelines, and local authority requirements (SEDA, ST, TNB).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Renewable Energy, or related discipline.
- SEDA GCPV Design certification is an added advantage.
- 2–5 years of experience in solar PV design and project engineering.
- Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Possess strong coordination and communication skills.
- Hands-on experience in installation, testing, and commissioning is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with MS 1837, MS 2692, OSHA Act, ST guidelines, and TNB requirements.
- Comfortable working in an on-site environment and willing to travel to project locations.
