Responsibilities:
Take ownership of all incoming shipments, ensuring smooth unloading, accurate quantity checks, and proper inspection for defects or damage.
Validate deliveries against purchase orders and ensure all data is correctly captured in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
Drive improvements in receiving workflows, including supporting automation initiatives and 2D barcode integration with vendors.
Provide operational support for any additional requirements raised by the Supply Chain Management (SCM) team or customers.
Outbound & Distribution
Develop and manage daily dispatch plans to meet delivery timelines and transport cut-off schedules.
Oversee order fulfillment processes, ensuring picking and packing are completed accurately and in line with service standards.
Ensure outbound shipments are loaded safely, minimizing risk of damage during transportation.
Handle the preparation and validation of shipping documents, ensuring compliance with operational and customer requirements.
Coordinate closely with logistics providers to ensure efficient collection and on-time delivery performance.
People Management & Safety
Lead warehouse personnel by providing direction, coaching, and performance guidance.
Distribute tasks effectively to optimize team productivity and meet operational targets.
Uphold all workplace safety standards and ensure compliance with company policies.
Foster a safety-conscious work environment through ongoing communication and routine checks.
Performance & Continuous Improvement
Review operational performance through key metrics such as accuracy, turnaround time, and inventory reliability.
Proactively identify inefficiencies and recommend process enhancements to improve output and reduce waste.
Generate performance insights and reports for management review.
Ensure the warehouse environment remains orderly, efficient, and compliant with safety standards.
Qualifications & Experience
Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field; equivalent experience will also be considered.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with exposure to both receiving and distribution functions.
Familiarity with WMS platforms and inventory tracking systems.
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel for reporting purposes.
Solid understanding of warehousing principles and logistics operations.
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.
Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-moving environment.
Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices within a warehouse setting.
