Job Responsibility

RFQ Review & Quotation Preparation

• Review customer RFQ packages, particularly for critical and special process requirements.

• Coordinate and lead kick-off meetings with the internal sourcing team.

• Prepare and coordinate engineering questionnaires based on customer RFQ requirements.

• Review tooling requirements (plastic parts, metal parts, PCB, etc.) as part of project preparation.

• Review manufacturing and assembly processes to improve quality and productivity by recommending and apply best practices in assembly process, Jigs & fixtures design concepts, error-proofing / poka-yoke methods.

• Prepare Customer NRE (Non-Recurring Engineering) cost and listing related to jigs and fixtures.

• Prepare and complete the quotation tender page. Issue and share official quotation submissions / emails to customers and/or Key Account Managers (KAM).

Communications & Stakeholder Management

• Communicate effectively with internal departments, customers, and KAM on quotation and project-related matters.

• Provide timely updates on project status, risks, readiness, and quotation progress.

• Maintain proper documentation and records related to RFQ, quotation, and project planning

Project Planning & Coordination

• Support project planning activities from quotation stage through project initiation.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure readiness of engineering, tooling, and project deliverables.

• Track and support achievement of project milestones and deliverables.

Qualification and Requirements: 

• Minimum Degree, major in engineering (mechatronic, electrical or electronic engineering).

• Manufacturing knowledge, preferably in the SMT / EMS industry.

• Must have at least 2-5 years’ experience project quotation / costing roles.

• Ability to work under pressure and within tight schedule

• Highly motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.

• Knowledge in MS Project, PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Word, AutoCad, Solidwork.
