Job Scope – Human Resources (HR)
- Handle basic Human Resources operations including recruitment, onboarding, and employee records management
- Prepare and maintain employee personal files, contracts, letters, and HR documentation
- Assist in payroll preparation, attendance monitoring, leave records, and statutory submissions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS)
- Coordinate staff disciplinary matters in accordance with company policies and labour laws
- Manage employee welfare, benefits, and general HR administration matters
- Manage and coordinate workers’ hostel matters in accordance with Akta 446 (Workers’ Minimum Standards of Housing and Amenities Act 1990)
- Apply for hostel registration and approval with Jabatan Tenaga Kerja (JTK)
- Coordinate and prepare hostel documentation for inspection and compliance audits by authorities
- Monitor hostel facilities, cleanliness, safety, and amenities to ensure continuous compliance with Akta 446
- Liaise with landlords, contractors, and relevant authorities regarding hostel requirements and improvements
Foreign Worker Management
- Handle foreign worker-related matters in compliance with Malaysian labour regulations
- Apply, renew, and manage foreign worker quota (KDN quota)
- Coordinate work permit applications, renewals, and cancellations with relevant authorities (JIM, KDN, JTK, etc.)
- Liaise with government agencies, embassies, agents, and medical centres regarding foreign worker documentation
- Monitor passport validity, work permits, insurance, and medical check-ups for foreign workers
- Assist in hostel arrangements and ensure compliance with Akta 446 (Workers’ Minimum Standards of Housing and Amenities Act)
Administrative & Support
- Prepare HR reports and updates for management
- Support management on HR-related matters and policy implementation
- Perform other duties as assigned by management from time to time
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,200.00 per month
Work Location: In person
