Your Contribution

1. Process & Data Analysis

• Analyze complex datasets using Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, SQL, and advanced analytics tools to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business improvement while supporting defined goals (e.g., process efficiency, production cost reduction, SG&A optimization, and KPI reliability).

• Translate analytical findings into actionable business insights for stakeholders and management.

• Perform advanced statistical analysis, forecasting, predictive analytics, and data modeling to support strategic decision-making.

• Assess, recommend, and implement the most suitable analytical methodologies, data models, and reporting approaches for business use cases.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather process and data-related requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.

• Guide and mentor junior Process Analysts on analytical techniques, Power BI best practices, data visualization principles, and reporting methodologies.

2. Dashboard & Data Visualization

• Design, develop, and maintain business-critical dashboards, reports, and self-service analytics solutions using Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Fabric to support operational and strategic KPIs.

• Establish BU-wide dashboard standards, reporting frameworks, and front-end visualization best practices to ensure consistency and user adoption.

• Develop and maintain semantic models, data models, and reporting structures while ensuring adherence to approved KPI calculation methodologies.

• Lead harmonization of reporting standards across Business Units (BUs) to ensure transparency, consistency, and governance in reporting.

• Maintain comprehensive dashboard documentation, report catalogues, and data dictionaries.

• Drive adoption of modern analytics capabilities within Microsoft Fabric, including dataflows, lakehouses, semantic models, and enterprise reporting solutions.

3. Process Management

• Document new and existing business processes, including process flows, data flows, dependencies, and stakeholder responsibilities.

• Develop process maps, flowcharts, and business documentation to support process standardization and optimization.

• Collaborate with Business Process Owners and Management to evaluate process efficiency, effectiveness, and performance.

• Identify process inefficiencies, reporting gaps, and deviations from standard processes and recommend corrective actions.

• Recommend process improvement initiatives aligned with global standards and digital transformation objectives.

• Drive continuous improvement of standardized systems used to monitor and report Business Unit operational KPIs.

• Develop and deliver training programs on Power BI dashboards, Fabric analytics solutions, and data-driven decision-making across stakeholder groups.

4. Data Quality & Governance

• Ensure the integrity, accuracy, consistency, and completeness of data used in ERP systems, Power BI reports, Microsoft Fabric environments, and other reporting platforms.

• Establish and maintain data governance frameworks, including data standards, business definitions, metadata management, and master data principles.

• Identify, investigate, and resolve data quality issues, inconsistencies, and process gaps impacting reporting accuracy.

• Collaborate with Business Process Owners, Master Data Stewards, IT teams, and Smart Manufacturing Engineers to establish sustainable data governance practices.

• Support the implementation of data quality monitoring and governance controls within Microsoft Fabric and enterprise reporting environments.

5. Data Architecture & Analytical Solutions

• Design and develop scalable data models, semantic models, and data pipelines in collaboration with IT and business stakeholders.

• Drive continuous improvements in data architecture, reporting frameworks, and analytics infrastructure.

• Lead the adoption and optimization of Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, data warehouses, lakehouses, and enterprise analytics solutions.

• Assess, recommend, and implement tools and technologies for data integration, transformation, visualization, and advanced analytics.

• Support the development of end-to-end analytical solutions from data ingestion through visualization and business insight generation.

6. Communication & Stakeholder Management

• Partner closely with business stakeholders to understand analytical requirements and translate them into impactful reporting and analytics solutions.

• Serve as a trusted advisor and counterpart for data-driven decision-making, KPI performance monitoring, and business improvement initiatives.

• Define project requirements with Global Business Process Owners and global functions to ensure compliance with governance standards and reporting requirements.

• Build and maintain professional relationships with internal customers, stakeholders, and leadership teams.

• Collaborate with SCHOTT’s global data analytics community to share best practices, leverage innovation, and promote standardized analytics solutions across Business Units.

7. Mentoring & Capability Development

• Mentor and support junior Process Analysts in analytical methodologies, Power BI development, Microsoft Fabric capabilities, data modeling, and reporting best practices.

• Promote a culture of continuous learning, data literacy, and analytics excellence within the organization.

• Support capability-building initiatives related to business intelligence, self-service analytics, and enterprise reporting solutions.

Profile description:

Your Profile

• Must have basic to intermediate SAP ERP, SAP BW knowledge
• Data and business analytics
• Advanced knowledge in Power BI
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge in M365 tools
• Excellent command of English
• Strong understanding of business process
• Posses general skills/attributes such as Motivation, Commitment, Negotiation skills, Interpersonal skills, Documentation skills, Structured and Logical Thinking
• Posses a min 5 years of experience in data analytics / business analytics
• Posses a Master's/Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/ Industrial Engineering/Computer Science or a related field or equivalent education and experience required
