Responsibilities
As a Process Engineer, you will support the delivery of process engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle. You will:
- Assist in delivering process engineering work in compliance with HSEQ standards, project procedures and regulatory requirements
- Support the development of key process deliverables, including PFDs, P&IDs, heat and material balances, and equipment sizing calculations
- Perform process simulations and assist with preparation of design documentation and datasheets
- Participate in design reviews, HAZOPs, and other process safety and technical assessments
- Ensure deliverables are prepared and checked in accordance with applicable standards and project requirements
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including piping, mechanical, and instrumentation engineers
- Interface with vendors and support procurement activities as required
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge sharing within the team
Qualifications
The successful candidate will demonstrate a solid technical foundation in process engineering and a willingness to learn and develop within a project environment. Key requirements include:
- Degree in Chemical Engineering (Bachelor’s or equivalent)
- Approximately 3–10 years of experience in process engineering, preferably in Oil & Gas, LNG, or related industries
- Exposure to process design activities such as simulations, PFDs, P&IDs, and equipment sizing
- Familiarity with process simulation tools such as Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, UniSim, or similar (preferred)
- Understanding of industry standards and basic process safety principles
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow professionally
