Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Instrumentation Engineering preferred
Diploma/GED with strong relevant experience may be considered
Experience in energy, oil & gas, petrochemical, or industrial systems environments
Hands-on exposure to DCS/control systems, industrial networking, or vibration monitoring systems
Knowledge of Modbus, OPC, networking, and serial communication protocols
Strong electronic/mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
Familiarity with condition monitoring software (e.g., System 1 Classic/EVO) is an advantage
Excellent communication skills for customer interaction and documentation
Strong problem-solving skills; able to work independently with minimal supervision
Willing and able to travel frequently to onshore industrial sites (This role requires a willingness and ability to travel frequently (often up to 70% of the time) to customer sites, sometimes on short notice (Jurong Island, Tuas, and Pulau Bukom).
Install, commission, and configure hardware and software systems at customer sites
Conduct routine and corrective maintenance to ensure optimal performance of instrumentation/control systems
Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electronic, and control-related issues
Provide on-site technical support and clearly explain technical information to clients
Ensure full compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements
Prepare detailed service reports, documentation, and activity summaries
Support customer relationships as an on-site representative
Participate in training programs and maintain technical proficiency
Coordinate with internal teams to escalate or resolve technical issues when needed
