Role Description This is a full-time, on-site AutoCAD Drafter role based in Tuas. The AutoCAD Drafter will prepare and update detailed technical drawings, layouts, and plans using AutoCAD and related drafting tools. Day-to-day responsibilities include producing shop drawings and architectural drawings based on design specifications, project requirements, and engineering inputs. The role involves coordinating with engineers, project managers, and site teams to clarify design details, resolve drawing discrepancies, and ensure drawings meet project standards. The AutoCAD Drafter will maintain organized drawing documentation, revise drawings according to feedback, and support the preparation of as-built drawings and submission documents. The position also requires adherence to company drafting standards, quality checks on all drawings, and effective time management to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in technical drawing and general drawing practices, with the ability to produce clear, accurate, and detailed plans.
• Experience preparing shop drawings, including layouts and fabrication details for construction or engineering projects.
• Capability to create and interpret architectural drawings, including plans, elevations, and sections, in line with project requirements.
• Basic understanding of architecture and building systems to translate design concepts into workable drawings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; familiarity with other CAD or BIM software (e.g., Revit, SketchUp) is an advantage.
• Diploma or certificate in Drafting, Architecture, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization in managing multiple drawing revisions and files.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, specifications, and construction drawings.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional project teams on-site.
• Willingness to work on-site in Tuas and adapt to project schedules and deadlines.
