Responsible for sales and profits for your dry goods department
The job tasks include inventory management, maintaining housekeeping and merchandising standards as well as product planning and allocation according to sales and customer demands
Supervise and train a team of Retail Assistants in ensuring the smooth running of daily operations
Lead and motivate team to achieve organization goals
Manage customers complaints, compliments and feedback
Manage stock inventory and stock control
Plan and manage promotional spaces and activities
Ensure standards for quality, customer service, health and safety are met as well as compliance with various government legislation (NEA, SFA, SCDF etc.)
Continuously review and enhance existing store operations and processes to improve business
To able to assist other dept when needed
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Diploma/ GCE ‘A’ level/ Higher NITEC/ GCE ‘O’ level with minimum 2 years of relevant experience
Independent and team player with good leadership skills
Service-oriented and hands-on person
A 6-day work week. Must be prepared to work on rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays
