Job Purpose

The UIUX Developer (Mobile) is responsible for driving the design and implementation of scalable mobile UI components and structured transition behaviour aligned with enterprise design standards, system architecture, and interaction principles. The role ensures consistency across component patterns, navigation flows, animations, loading states, and user journey transitions to deliver a cohesive banking experience. This position requires strong ownership to identify experience gaps, establish reusable interaction patterns, and ensure end-to-end alignment from design intent through development and release within a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

Mobile UI Development & System Ownership

• Design and develop reusable mobile UI components aligned with enterprise design systems.

• Drive consistency in layout, spacing, typography, accessibility, and interaction behaviour across modules.

• Establish scalable UI patterns that support long-term maintainability.

Interaction & Transition Behaviour

• Define and implement structured transition behaviours, including navigation flow, animation patterns, and loading states

• Ensure motion and interaction patterns remain predictable, consistent, and aligned with product experience guidelines.

• Maintain continuity of user journeys across parallel development streams.

Experience & Solution Leadership

• Identify gaps in system design, navigation structure, and interaction flows, and drive resolution through structured solutions.

• Translate product intent into implementable UI behaviour that aligns with both design standards and technical constraints.

• Ensure design intent is preserved throughout the development lifecycle.

Backend Integration Knowledge

• Implement UI interfaces that integrate effectively with backend APIs.

• Structure UI behaviour based on real data states, error handling, and system responses.

• Ensure UI flows remain feasible and aligned with backend integration requirements.

Cross-Platform Delivery

• Maintain consistent experience across mobile applications and selected form-builder or web interfaces where required.

Quality & Governance

• Own UI quality standards beyond visuals, including transitions, loading logic, and interaction feedback.

• Ensure adherence to governance, security requirements, and release processes within a regulated banking environment.

• Drive continuous refinement of UI architecture and interaction standards.

• Consistent and scalable UI component architecture across the application.

Required Skills & Tools

Technical Skills

• Strong mobile front-end development experience (native or cross-platform frameworks).

• Deep understanding of UI architecture, interaction behaviour, and motion principles.

• Experience integrating mobile UI with backend APIs.

Tools & Platforms

• Figma or equivalent design collaboration tools.

• Mobile frameworks (React Native, Flutter, SwiftUI, Kotlin, etc.).

• Git version control.

• Agile delivery tools such as Jira.

Professional Competencies

• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to drive structured solutions end-to-end.

• High attention to detail and experience consistency.

• Ability to challenge constructively while working within enterprise governance.

Experience & Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in mobile UI or front-end development.

• Proven experience driving UI consistency, interaction behaviour, or design system implementation.

• Experience within banking, fintech, or enterprise digital platforms is advantageous.
