We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Chemist/Lab Assistant to join our growing team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing laboratory operations, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and supporting our gold refinery processes using Aqua Regia. You will also play a key role in maintaining ISO/IEC 17025 standards and supporting the team in technical and operational matters.

• Taking overall responsibility for laboratory operations, safety, and workflow.

• Performing chemical analyses and tests to ensure product quality and consistency.

• Preparing samples, operating laboratory equipment (ICP, AAS, XRF, spectrophotometers, pH meters, balances), and recording results.

• Implementing and maintaining ISO/IEC 17025 standards (QA, SOPs, audits).

• Handling customer communication and preparing accurate reports.

• Troubleshooting instruments and supervising lab staff when necessary.

• Assisting with the development and optimization of laboratory procedures and methods.

• Supporting the refinery process with Aqua Regia (requires strong chemical background).

• Adhering to all laboratory safety protocols and regulatory requirements.

• Degree in Chemistry/related field.

• 1–2 years lab experience (manufacturing/chemical/refinery preferred).

• Knowledge in Aqua Regia process & ISO/IEC 17025.

• Good problem-solving, teamwork & reporting skills.
