About the Role
The Leasing & Operations Officer plays a dual role as the frontline representative and administrative backbone of our student accommodation properties. This position is responsible for driving room leasing and conversions while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations at the front desk and across the resident journey — from initial enquiry through to move-out.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, resident-focused, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced property environment.
Key Responsibilities:Leasing
Handle inbound enquiries from prospective students via phone, email, WhatsApp, and walk-in
Conduct room viewings and provide detailed information on room types, pricing, and availability.
Follow up with leads proactively to convert enquiries into confirmed bookings.
Prepare and process tenancy agreements, offer letters, and related lease documentation.
Maintain up-to-date room availability tracker and occupancy records.
Liaise with university partners, corporate clients, and leasing agents for referrals and pipeline management.
Support the Leasing Director with KPI tracking, conversion funnel reporting, and occupancy analysis
Operations & Front Desk
Manage front desk operations including resident check-ins, check-outs, key handovers, and access card management.
Serve as the first point of contact for all resident enquiries and service requests.
Log, track, and follow up on maintenance and repair requests with vendors, contractors, and housekeeping teams.
Handle ad-hoc payments, assist with payment plan setup, and follow up on outstanding rent.
Coordinate move-in/move-out logistics, including room readiness inspections and condition reports.
Refer residents with personal or welfare concerns to appropriate support channels.
Prepare regular operational reports on occupancy, resident feedback, and facilities status.
Diploma or above, preferably in Business Administration, Estate Management, or Hospitality
Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in property leasing, student accommodation, serviced apartments, or hospitality
Prior front desk or customer-facing experience is strongly preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and property management systems
Strong verbal and written skills in English and Cantonese; Mandarin is an advantage
Warm, professional, and solution-oriented approach to resident interactions
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with strong attention to detail
Able to handle resident complaints and operational issues calmly and efficiently
Able to well collaborative with internal operations, leasing, and management teams
Working Conditions
5-day work week with rotating shifts including some weekends and public holidays.
Base on-site at assigned property; occasional travel between properties may be required
Immediate availability preferred
