Key Responsibilities
1. Short-Form Video Editing Using CapCut
- Edit short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Stories, and social media ads.
- Produce 4 to 5 edited videos per day based on content briefs, raw footage, scripts, or campaign direction.
- Add subtitles, captions, transitions, sound effects, trending audio, music, stickers, filters, and text overlays.
- Ensure videos are optimized for vertical format, especially 9:16 mobile viewing.
- Edit videos to improve hook, pacing, retention, storytelling, and call-to-action.
2. Canva Support for Visual Assets
- Work together with Canva to create or adjust supporting visual materials.
- Prepare simple thumbnails, title screens, end screens, story slides, and graphic overlays.
- Ensure Canva visuals match the video style, brand colors, and campaign direction.
- Combine Canva assets into CapCut videos when needed.
3. Content Adaptation for TikTok & Instagram
- Edit videos according to TikTok and Instagram short-form content trends.
- Repurpose one raw content idea into different versions for different platforms.
- Create variations of the same video using different hooks, openings, captions, or CTAs.
- Ensure content is clear, engaging, and suitable for the target audience.
4. Content Production Support
- Work closely with the content creator, marketing team, or social media team.
- Receive raw footage and turn it into ready-to-post videos.
- Follow editing guidelines, campaign briefs, and posting schedules.
- Organize edited files, raw footage, and final video versions properly.
- Meet daily editing deadlines consistently.
5. Monthly Content Performance Review Support
- Review basic video performance together with the marketing team.
- Identify which editing styles perform better, such as:
- Stronger hooks
- Faster cuts
- Subtitle styles
- Music or sound effects
- CTA placement
- Video length
- Suggest improvements based on monthly content performance.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in video editing, content editing, or social media content production.
- Strong hands-on skill in CapCut.
- Able to produce 4 to 5 short-form videos per day.
- Intermediate skill in Canva.
- Good understanding of TikTok and Instagram Reels video style.
- Able to edit videos with good pacing, hooks, subtitles, and visual flow.
- Able to follow brand guidelines and content direction.
- Fast, organized, creative, and able to meet daily deadlines.
- Good file management and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills
- Experience editing videos for beauty, skincare, aesthetic clinic, wellness, retail, or lifestyle brands.
- Basic understanding of TikTok trends, Reels trends, and social media ads.
- Able to create different versions of the same video for testing.
- Able to improve raw footage into more engaging short-form content.
- Basic knowledge of video performance metrics such as views, retention, engagement, and click-through.
